Our client in the Hospitality industry is looking for a Food and Beverage host to join their Food and Beverage team in a luxury hotel in Cape Town.
Host/Hostess Duties but not limited to:
• Greet customers and manage the seating area.
• Pass out menus to customers and take phone calls in a professional manner.
• Maintain an accurate waitlist and direct customers to coatrooms, restrooms, or a waiting area as needed.
• Notify supervisors of large parties and ensure that all reservations are distributed among waiter stations efficiently.
• Advise waiters of any special requests from customers.
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education is required.
• A formal qualification will be considered an advantage.
• Computer literacy is also essential.
