POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a dynamic and multi-skilled individual to join our team as a second receptionist, with flexibility to assist in various areas of hotel operations. This role is ideal for a young, enthusiastic person eager to learn new skills and grow within the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional front-of-house reception services, welcoming and assisting guests.
- Handle reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently.
- Assist in the bar when required.
- Conduct housekeeping checks to maintain quality standards.
- Oversee and check laundry operations.
- Maintain accurate records and reports using hotel systems (Semper knowledge advantageous).
- Represent the hotel professionally across all departments.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills with fluent spoken and written English.
- Computer literate; experience with hotel management systems (Semper advantageous).
- Friendly, professional, and well-presented.
- Flexible and willing to assist across different areas of the hotel.
- Previous hospitality experience advantageous but not essential – training will be provided.
Remuneration & Benefits:
- Salary: R6,000 negotiable per month, depending on experience.
