Construction Health & Safety Officer / Junior Manager

Kimberley, Northern Cape

POSITION INFO:

What You'll Be Doing

Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of health and safety systems on site.
Conducting site inspections and identifying potential hazards before they become incidents.
Supporting compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Construction Regulations.
Participating in risk assessments and toolbox talks.
Assisting with investigations and reporting of incidents and near misses.
Facilitating site inductions and safety awareness initiatives.
Working closely with contractors, supervisors, and project teams to promote a positive safety culture.
Maintaining health and safety records and documentation.

What We're Looking For

Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline.
SACPCMP registration or eligibility to register will be advantageous.
Construction site experience preferred.
Sound understanding of health and safety principles and legislation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Ability to work on-site in Kimberley, Northern Cape.
