Health & Safety Administrator (HSE)

SUMMARY:
Our Client in Roodepoort is looking for a Health and Safety Officer
Salary between R22 000 - R24 000 + benefits

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:
To provide administrative and coordination support to the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) team. This role ensures smooth operation of SHE compliance processes and helps maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• SAMTRAC certification or a Diploma in Safety Management (or equivalent).
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Minimum 5 – 7 years’ experience in a SHEQ administrative role within mining, construction, or similar high-risk industry.
• Proven Knowledge of SHEQ legislation (OHS Act, Environmental Regulations, Construction Regulations).
• Strong report writing and documentation capabilities.
• Experience with Passport 360 System (advantageous).
• Knowledge of Safety File Compilation, Approval with Clients and Maintenance.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Highly detail-oriented, organised, and proactive.
• Strong time-management and stakeholder-engagement skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team.
• Strong administration skills.
• Passport 360(PP360) experience required
• Medically fit for site requirements.
