SUMMARY:
A role for an experienced Technical Handyman is available for Office Buildings

POSITION INFO:

Handyman from Commercial property and real estate sought.

Job Purpose

• Ensure that the house keeping and mantainance of the buildings and other handyman duties are undertaken with respect to the clients planned mantainance and emergency work programme.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance is mantained withinrequired building and statutory regulations and standards.
• Maintenance of efficient responses/feedback to complaints from tenants.
• Carry out general maintenance as directed by work instructions. example Painting, Electrical, Tiling and Pumbling.

• Qualifications/Skills required:
• Grade 12
• Handyman courses
• A related Trade qualification is necessary
• Basic knowledge methods, materials, tools, equipment, safety hazards, and safety precautions used in building management.
• Drivers License prefered (own transport advantageous)

Experience

• At least 5 years Handyman experience in Offices or Retail
• Dealing with people at all levels.
• Tenant Liaison experience
• Professional and ability to communicate effectively to management.
• Report writing, and previous experience working for a COMMERCIAL property group.
