Half Day Debtors Clerk Position - Elsiesrivier Industria

SUMMARY:
This Market Leading Company that specialises within Imports and Distribution of High-End, Quality Hygiene and Cleaning Products is looking to appoint a Debtors Clerk on a Half Day working schedule.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• Completed Relevant Financial/Accounting National Diploma or Degree (Preferred)
• 1 – 2 years debtors clerk experience
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Fully Computer Literate (Intermediate – Advanced Excel)
• Previous exposure to SAP (Advantageous)
• Data entry skills
• Strong organistational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Deadline driven, team player and accountable
• Professional communicator (Telephonic/Email), building strong relations with clients/suppliers pertaining account status
• Valid Drivers License and own transport
• Working Hours: 08h00 – 13h00 Monday to Friday

Monthly Duties & Responsibilities

• Collect overdue monies on debtors’ book
• Provide each customer with an accurate statement, accompanying invoices and delivery notes
• Daily Account Reconciliations + Receipt notification for Sales Team
• Manage overpayments on account, utilize or refund
• Manage Deposits
• Credit approvals via credit applications process
• Client Management & assist with queries on account
• Report on Outstanding Debtors
• Compliance for all Exports (Supply Correct Clearing documentation for inward Forex)
