JOB DESCRIPTION:

Family owned business that operate 5 independent companies from the one site are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join their team.  Incumbent must be fully proficient in Excel and Sage Pastel.  Duties include:

  • Capture accurate receipting daily, reconcile creditors weekly for payments
  • Producing invoicing monthly and issue statements 
  • Track expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts and other financial dealings of the companies
  • Provide regular financial reports (weekly, monthly and annually)
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable and follow up with creditors and debtors

Knowledge and skills in:

  • GL Reconciliations
  • Internal controls
  • Journals
  • VAT
  • Must be detail orientated and have the ability to work unsupervised

Please note that this role is based in New Hanover, own reliable transport would be essential.
