HVAC Technical Assistant

SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading property development company based in East London, is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join their technical maintenance team on a full-time basis.

This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong experience in HVAC systems, air conditioning, refrigeration, and VRV/VRF systems, who can deliver high-quality installations, maintenance, and fault-finding across a diverse property portfolio.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, air conditioning units, and ventilation systems across commercial, retail, and industrial properties
• Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on HVAC equipment
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and service calls
• Ensure all systems operate efficiently and meet performance standards
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and service reports
• Manage and organise HVAC tools, equipment, and warehouse stock
• Order parts and materials required for maintenance and installation projects
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and operational
• Adhere to all health, safety, and compliance regulations
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Deliver excellent customer service and technical support
• Stay up to date with HVAC technology, systems, and industry best practices

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / High School Diploma
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as an HVAC Technician / Air Conditioning Technician / Refrigeration Technician
• Proven experience with VRV/VRF systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
