HSE Officer (SACPCMP essential)

SUMMARY:
Our client, a national construction company, specialising in medium to large scale projects, seeks to employ an experienced and qualified, SACPCMP registered Health and Safety Officer, with experience in the construction sector, for their operation in Cape Town for a 2 month contract
 
Please note that SACPCMP registration is essential and due to the position being on contract, only candidates in the Cape Town/Winelands region will be considered

POSITION INFO:
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You will have completed a relevant National Diploma in Safety Management, as well as be registered as a Safety Officer with SACPCMP, and have a minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Health and Safety Officer within the Civils, Building and related sector.
• You must have previous experience in Construction with a strong emphasis on safety and risk management, and thoroughly investigating accidents and incidents.
• You must have knowledge and experience with reporting, Workmen’s Compensation, relevant legislations, and understand the admin revolving those key areas – MS Office experience is also essential.
• You must be able to decide and initiate action and be highly motivated, with the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• You must be a detailed-orientated and organized team player with demonstrated delivery in high pressure situations.
• You must have a driver’s license, a clear criminal and credit record, and reliable transport.
