SUMMARY:

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a HR Practitioner to join them in Heidelberg, Gauteng. Must have experience working with blue collar staff.

POSITION INFO:

Position: HR Practitioner

Location: Heidelberg, Gauteng

Salary Range: R 20 000.00 CTC p/m

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Recruitment and selection
Manage of boarding process (Induction, train new employees of the company policies and procedures)
Payroll administration (Overtime, terminations, new employees, casual labour etc.)
Provident fund administration
Liaise with other departmental managers and assist with their HR needs
Ensure they are fully informed of HR objectives, purposes and achievements
Update and maintain employee files
Compile employment equity statistics for the butcheries and head office staff
Advise manager on Industrial Relations Matters (warnings, hearings, company representation at the CCMA)
Ensure company is compliant with standards of Department of Labour (EE, ESP, COID, BCEA, LRA)
Maintain and develop a training plan
Sound knowledge of BEE, ability to drive BEE strategies within a company
Compile documents and reports for financial year end and audit process

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

Degree in Human Resource Management or Similar
Minimum 5 years’ experience in generalist position
Excellent business English
2 – 5 Years in manufacturing environment
