JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose of the Job:

  • Execute the Company’s HR strategy; deliver an exemplary standard of client service through sound and timely advice, a collaborative approach to communications and maintaining high quality of outputs.
  • To providing generalist HR partnership and advisory service to Business Managers.

  • Workforce Planning – Liaise and understand Labor requirement
  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Training & Development
  • Performance Management
  • Employee Relations
  • Compliance and Legislative obligations
  • Employee Wellness
  • Conduct Workforce Planning factoring in customer demand 
  • Prepare and Track Labour Budget for Plant including all CTC Items
  • Identify, track and plan OD Interventions
  • Prepare and Adjust On-boarding requirements to ensure a smooth transition into the organizational culture 
  • Develop and implement Competency Based Recruitment and Selection methods of Direct and Indirect Labour in accordance with Project timings 
  • Build capacity with Line management on formulation of SMART Performance goals and ensure vertical integration into corporate goals 
  • Track departmental KPI''s and formulate action plans on deviations : FTC Headcount, Absenteeism, Overtime, Training, Safety, Turnover 
  • Review and create HR Procedures in line with Risk-based thinking requirements 
  • Equip Line Managers with disciplinary preparation skills and represent Company at DRC Proceedings 
  • Liaise directly with Solidarity and NUMSA unions on Plant Level negotiation items 
  • Organizational Structure change through optimization linked to job evaluations and grading as well as
  • Section 189a Restructuring when required 
  • Manage BBEEE Compliance through planning and conducting gap analysis to ensure BBEEE improvement plan is achieved 
  • Manage WSP and ART Compliances by ensuring subordinates follow agreed T&D Plan for both internal and external trainings 
  • Formulate EE Plan and track progress on actions related to barriers and organizational targets 
  • Oversee Sage VIP Payrol and MIBCO Returns of over 350 employees 
  • Oversee Successful audits for HR and Safety related to ISO 14001, IATF16949 and DOL Audits 

 

Education, Experience, Skills

 

  • BHons or Degree in (Human Resources, Industrial psychology)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of practical experience in a similar position
  • Working Knowledge of Talent Management processes,
  • Working knowledge of Success Power Centre Advantageous
  • Job Analysis, Grading and specifications (HAYS Preferred)
  • HR Policy Formulation and Implementation
  • Working in automotive industry or manufacturing industry preferred
  • Knowledge of Mibco Processes
  • Must have automotive HR experience
  • Representation of Company at DRC Level
  • Compliance and legislative obligation experience related to BBEEE, WSP, ART, EE Plans, SETA Processes
  • Experience of SAGE VIP Package preferred
  • Excel advanced knowledge
