SUMMARY:
An audit firm in the Bellville is looking for an experienced HR Manager to take over the entire function and set procedures in place.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities

  • “Go to person” for management and employees people matters
  • Oversee the full HR functions for up to 120 staff
  • Define and drive an integrated people management approach and strategy
  • Advise management on strategic and operational people management matters
  • Support management to define and embed a unique organisation culture and employee brand, driving employee attraction, engagement and retention
  • Management of the HR administrator
  • Appointment and on-boarding of new employees
  • Regular audits are done on all job descriptions ensuring that job descriptions are updated regularly for each position in the company
  • Review all current policies and practices for fairness and compliance
  • Draft new policies and practices as required from time to time
  • Monitor, educate and advise on the application of policies and procedures
  • Advise and support management with the design, implementation and co-ordination of performance management processes and procedures to assess and improve performance
  • Coordinate administration of individual performance appraisals and reviews
  • Employment Equity and Workplace skill plan compile and submit
  • Health and safety compliance
  • Regulatory compliance and submissions
  • Co-ordinate staff wellness activities 
  • Co-ordinate staff CSI projects i.e Blood donation drives, Mandela day, Wellness week etc.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Minimum of Matric / Grade 12 certificate
  • A diploma or degree in Human Resource Management
  • Experience as an HR generalist working in a small to medium sized enterprise
  • Working within the audit environment would be advantageous
  • Coaching experience
  • Experience in Greatsoft
