HR Intern

SUMMARY:

We are currently looking for an HR Intern for the Johannesburg office. We have offices in Durban and Cape Town which also falls under the scope of this position. The job description for the position of HR Intern includes, but is not limited to the following:

POSITION INFO:

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting the HR Department with general administration including administration of leave and staff welfare management
• Assisting with induction procedures of new staff and exit procedure for departing staff
• Auditing of staff files to ensure data is relevant, up to date and complete.
• Management of Pension Fund and Industrial Council  
• Compile and maintain HR related reports, including but not limited to EE Reports and Work Skills Plan.
• Assisting with compliance management regarding POPIA, BEE etc
• Assist HR Manager will all disciplinarily matters
• Assisting with HR Related functions example teambuilding, year-end functions and staff awareness campaigns

Reporting directly into HR Manager

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Educational level: Degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology
• SAGE VIP Premier Payroll and HRM
• Computer literacy: MS Office suites
