HR Generalist Mid Level

SUMMARY:
Join a small team, reporting directly to the Senior HR Manager. The HR Administrator will assist you from hiring to onboarding, from employee compensation to evaluation. Your passion for HR, are familiar with labour law, this is the place to be.

POSITION INFO:

Your role as an HR Generalist will be far from one-dimensional. You will undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like organizing training, administering employee benefits and leaves,  and crafting HR policies. Ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. And you and the HR Administrator will also act as the main point of contact for employee''s queries on HR-related topics. The goal is to ensure the HR department''s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the company as a whole. This position is based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

Requirements:

• Post Matric qualification within HR
• Minimum of 5 years working experience as HR Generalist
• Understanding of employment/Labour Laws
• Ability to work with large workforce - all levels
• Outstanding computer and communication skills
• Aptitude in problem-solving
• Ability to work in a small team - you will have a senior Manager and a junior colleague to work with
• Ability to work in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town

Duties:

• Full recruitment cycle with relevant administration - checks, verification, employee files, contracts and more
• Onboarding, assisting & organizing training and development initiatives
• Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
• Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
• Undertake tasks around performance management
• Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
• Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
• Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing teambuilding activities
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations
• Assist with Payroll management  Health and Safety and BEE management
