HR Generalist (JB2577)
Area: Midrand
Salary:  R20 000.00 – R30 000.00 (Dependent on experience)
Duration: Permanent

With 50 years of experience in Food Safety and Quality, and an extensive global footprint of more than 100 accredited laboratories in 21 countries, this well-established company that is a market leader in its industry is looking for a dedicated and hard-working HR Generalist to join their team. The company is dedicated to protecting consumers’ health throughout the world, by delivering a wide range of testing and consulting services to the food & nutrition, agrochemicals, pharma, and cosmetics industries.

Minimum Requirements:
Matric
HR related qualification 
Minimum 3 - 5 years proven work experience as an HR Generalist Assistant / Generalist
Excellent understanding of HR functions and best practices
Sound understanding of regulation and compliance administration (BCEA, LRA & SDA)
Written communication skills for correspondence, reports, and HR content
Results-focused and deadline-orientated
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely and in partnership with the HR team to provide effective process, practice and systems adhering to good governance at all times.
Provide administrative support to all HR functions
Able to handle sensitive information confidentially
Take responsibility for collation of all employee forms and data.
Take responsibility for co-ordination of the induction process
Take responsibility for recruitment i.e., Short-listing candidates, setting-up interviews, completing reference checks, etc.
Collate information for reports and presentations for internal communications.
Coordinate HR projects, meetings, training initiatives, workshops, and seminars.
Drive employee engagement and branding initiatives
Interact with staff and management in order to respond to HR related enquiries or requests
Maintain efficient data/filing systems including both hard and digital copies of employee records.
Organisation of HR Wellness Days and implementing the assigned HR Strategy 
Prepare induction and orientation for new employees by sharing on boarding packages.
Provide administrative support to all HR functions
Review of access tag reports for the branch and ensure that all leave entered on the system is updated and approved.
Schedule meetings, schedule interviews and HR events.
Update records of new staff.
Work closely and in partnership with the HR Manager and the HR team to provide effective process, practice, and systems
