JOB DESCRIPTION:

Established concern based in Pietermaritzburg is seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join their team!

Key Functions include:

  • Cover the entire HR scope of work, including BBBEE.
  • Develop training programs and material.
  • Conduct organizational needs assessment.
  • Lead training and coaching programs and assess program impact.
  • Manage training schedules and direct individual trainers.
  • Assist with day-to-day payroll related activities and processing of all payrolls (± 600 employees) including the accurate remuneration payments to employees and maintaining the integrity of the payroll.
  • General administration, confidential filing, UIF and processing of tax directives.
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of year-end salary reviews.
  • Assist with the management of retirement funds, medical aid benefits and processing thereof.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 with a Diploma/Degree in Human Sciences or equivalent NQF level of academic credentials.
  • Recent, relevant and valid payroll certification of competence.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in training specialisation.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in payroll inclusive of executive administration.
  • Ability to demonstrate above average data analysis, organisational, presentation, leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Confidentiality and integrity, attention to detail, deadline driven and good business acumen is essential.
  • Ability to demonstrate computer literacy in MS Office 365 and VIP Payroll.
