DESCRIPTION:

I am looking for a Qualified HR Business Partner reporting to the HR Director and has excellent HR expertise. Our Ideal Candidate should have solid experience with HR Practices, Policies and Procedures The successful candidate will have responsibility for the full employee life cycle and will be involved in all areas of the Human Resources function.  In this assignment, the candidate will be the main support for the Business on all HR Functions.  They will also work closely with the HR Administrator, Payroll Officer, Executives, Line Management and general Staff. Specialisation in IR is essential and a pre-requesite over and above all other HR Functions.

 

Candidates who will be considered for this role will be pro-active individuals who thrive on challenges, work well independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment, analytical, find creative and innovative solutions to problems, with extreme attention to detail and are customer-focused in a complex environment. Must be excellent in Microsoft Programmes especially Excel & SharePoint, SAGE300 advantageous.  Full understanding and practical work experience in all HR Functions and Best Practices, Degree in HR Management or equivalent with Minimum 5 years’ experience within a Generalist HR environment.  Telecommunications Industry background/exposure mandatory.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL ENTAIL:

  • Talent Acquisition, following the Company’s Processes and Procedures.
  • Managing the Employee On-Boarding Process.
  • Accurately compiling and processing a variety of HR Documents e.g. Employment Contracts, amendments to Contracts, Policy Documents, etc.
  • Undertake Specific Projects, in consultation with Line Management, to facilitate HR activities and enhance client service.
  • Collating, Tracking and ensuring that Payroll documentation is processed accordingly and submitted timely.
  • Managing the Employee Benefits.
  • Provide timely and relevant HR Management Information, Data Analytics and Reports.
  • Facilitating the company’s Performance Management Process, giving the necessary guidance and support to Line Managers.
  • Management of organisational IR Matters from Internal, CCMA to Labour Court.

KEY COMPETENCIES / REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.

Minimum 8 years working experience within a Generalist HR environment.

Experience in the application of SA Labour Legislation with Strong IR Expertise.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly pressured environment.

Excellent time management skills with an ability to multi-task.

Demonstrate experience with HR Metrics.

Proven abilities on problem-solving and decision-making.

Analytical and innovative with a keen eye for detail.

Customer Oriented.

Able to form and maintain effective working relationships with all Stakeholders in the Business.

Self-driven with a level of Tenacity.

Ability to work well independently & as well as in a Team.

Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel and SharePoint, SAGE300 advantageous.

Experience on the Use and Management of HR Systems.
