SUMMARY:
An international technology and outsourcing company based in Wembley, Cape Town, is recruiting to take on a vibrant HR Administrator, with good understanding and knowledge of employment law and legislation and ensuring conformity to this thereof. They will in addition, be assisting with any other administrative tasks as and when is necessary. Experience in dealing with Payroll is essential.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
  • Relevant Diploma / Degree or experience in Human Resources (essential)
  • Minimum of 12 months working experience in HR Admin or HR Assistant role (essential)
  • Native level / fluency in English (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent Communication and people focus (both verbal and written).
  • Competence and experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages & HR software
Key Areas:
  • Processing internal arrangements such as travel, training sessions, and team-building events
  • Maintaining internal records, which may include; preparing, issuing and filing company documentation (e.g. sick leave, maternity leave, etc.)
  • Communicating with recruiters and other external parties
  • Forming and maintaining employee records
  • Updating databases internally, such as sick and maternity leave
  • Preparing and amending, where necessary, HR documents, i.e. employment contracts and recruitment guides
  • Support payroll management, including all leave activities
  • Reviewing and renewing company policies and legal compliance
  • Reporting regularly on HR metrics, such as attrition, employee satisfaction etc.
  • Being the first point of contact for employees on any HR related queries
  • Promoting employee wellbeing through coordinating & managing various initiatives
  • Helping with various ad-hoc activities relating to employee wellbeing & motivation
