SUMMARY:
Limited Duration Contract (4 Years)
The main purpose of the role is to supervise area of responsibility on site to ensure that operations run smoothly

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Ensure the effective utilisation of maintenance resources and allocation according to daily planned schedule and assigning tasks and targets with detailed information
Monitor and manage daily production and investigate deviations from production targets and standards
Ensure Fitting and Rigging equipment and material is within the specific standards.
Ensure the early identification of problem areas and ensuring corrective actions for any anomalies to ensure minimal rework and non-conformances.
Ensure adherence and compliance to preventative maintenance schedules Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements as per the ITP’s and QCP’s and that documentation is completed on time
Ensure safety requirements of OHS Act and JT are compiled to
Submit justification for new machinery to site manager for approval
The effective management of staff in accordance with Company policies and procedures

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
- Matric/ N3
- Trade Test or Supervisory course

Experience
- 5 years in related technical field

Knowledge

Mechanical fitter
Boilermaker
Millwright
Knowledge about Boilers
HP Piping Welding
Knowledge of pipework replacement and new installation experience
Familiar with rigging activities
