HIGH SCHOOL TUTOR – MATHS & ENGLISH (REMOTE, EVENINGS)

POSITION INFO:

• Deliver engaging and personalized online tutoring sessions tailored to students'' needs.
• Assess students’ progress and adapt teaching strategies to improve learning outcomes.
• Develop and execute lesson plans based on the student’s curriculum and areas of difficulty.
• Create a positive, supportive learning environment to encourage student participation.
• Utilize online platforms and tools effectively to deliver lessons (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom).
• Maintain communication with students and parents, providing updates on progress and challenges.

• Bachelor''s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) OR Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) OR Diploma in Teaching.

• A minimum of 4-6 + years English & Maths primary school or up to Grade 12.
• The client is only interested in candidates who can tutor in the following areas: English & Maths Primary school or up to Grade 12.
• Prior experience in Tutoring or Teaching, especially in an online setting, is highly desirable.
• Strong command of the subject matter and ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Excellent communication skills
• Essential to be computer literate using different applications ie. Zoom, Calendly.
• Proficient in using digital tools and platforms for remote teaching.
• Access to a reliable computer and stable internet connection.

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.  
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping students succeed.
