SUMMARY:
Overview
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and service-driven Guesthouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of a guesthouse and ensure an exceptional guest experience at all times. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, hands-on, and passionate about hospitality, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all day-to-day guesthouse operations
Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs
Ensure outstanding guest service and professionally handle guest queries and complaints
Supervise and manage housekeeping and support staff
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and overall property appearance
Monitor stock levels and manage supplier relationships
Handle basic financial administration, reporting, and budgeting
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality standards
Work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required

Proven experience in hospitality or guesthouse/hotel management
Strong leadership and staff management skills
High attention to detail with excellent organisational ability
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Computer literate
