GROWER

Arboreta is a leading wholesale ornamental plant nursery serving Landscape Gardeners, Garden Centres, Agricultural Estates and Developers. Our team is passionate and dedicated to producing plants of exceptional quality. We are seeking a motivated individual who will thrive in a hands-on production environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the cultivation and production of ornamental plants
• Monitor plant health, irrigation, nutrition, and general crop care
• Support propagation, planting, pruning, and harvesting activities
• Maintain accurate production and growth records
• Uphold quality control standards across nursery operations
• Assist with planning and organizing daily production tasks
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient workflow

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• National Diploma in Agriculture or Horticulture (preferably Agriculture – Elsenburg or Boland College)
• Practical experience in an agricultural production environment (fruit, nuts, berries, and/or vineyards)
• Valid driver’s license
• High integrity, self-motivated, energetic, and detail-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong planning and organizational skill
• Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (verbal & written).
