About the Role

POSITION INFO:

What You Bring

• Hospitality qualification with a minimum of 3 years experience in Groups and Conferencing within a 4 or 5-star hotel
• Experience in hotel reservations, front office or event coordination
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera (essential)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong email and telephone etiquette
• Detail-oriented with exceptional multitasking ability
• Fluency in English (additional languages advantageous)
• Strong planning, organising and administration skills
• Critical thinking and conflict management skills
• Flexible availability for weekends, public holidays and evenings

What You Will Do

• Handle all group enquiries and bookings including corporate, weddings, tours and conferences
• Liaise with clients to understand event needs and provide tailored proposals
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth event execution
• Prepare function sheets and itineraries for all events
• Follow up post-event for feedback and ongoing relationship building
• Manage FIT reservations and ensure personalised service for high-end guests
• Collaborate with travel agents and tour operators
• Maintain up-to-date records of guest preferences, repeat visitors and VIPs
• Resolve booking concerns, cancellations, no-shows and rebookings professionally
• Allocate payments and complete daily banking
