Group Treasury Analyst

SUMMARY:
The Group Treasury Analyst will own day-to-day Group treasury operations while supporting cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, treasury reporting, banking relationships and governance.

Take ownership of Group treasury operations, cash forecasting, liquidity planning and reporting across multiple markets, with a strong focus on automation, governance and cross-border treasury requirements.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client operates in a Group environment across multiple markets, with international banking stakeholders and cross-border treasury requirements.

The treasury function covers cash forecasting, liquidity planning, banking operations, FX exposure, intercompany funding, debt facilities, treasury governance and reporting.

THE ROLE: GROUP TREASURY ANALYST

The Group Treasury Analyst will own day-to-day Group treasury operations while supporting cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, treasury reporting, banking relationships and governance.

The role will also focus on improving treasury processes and driving automation through AI, Power BI, Power Query and advanced Excel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Treasury Analysis, Forecasting & Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, 17-week and long-term cash flow forecasts and models.
• Develop Base, Medium Risk and High Risk liquidity scenarios.
• Monitor cash positions and optimise liquidity across all bank accounts.
• Manage FX exposure, intercompany funding and loan settlements.
• Support debt facilities, covenant reporting and liquidity headroom analysis.
• Produce weekly and monthly treasury reporting for senior leadership.
• Analyse working capital performance, including DSO, DPO and cash conversion.

Treasury Operations, Banking & Governance

• Own day-to-day Group treasury operations.
• Own KYC processes, banking relationships including HSBC, mandates, user access and account administration.
• Support treasury compliance activities, including reporting and documentation requirements for banking partners such as HSBC.
• Maintain appropriate banking governance, payment approval matrices, segregation of duties and treasury control documentation.
• Execute treasury payments during the transition period before transfer to Group Accounts Payable.
• Support intercompany funding, settlements and cross-border cash movements across Group entities.
• Support the maintenance and development of Group Treasury Policies and procedures.
• Maintain treasury controls, governance and audit documentation.

Systems, Automation & Process Improvement

• Drive automation using AI, Power BI, Power Query and advanced Excel.
• Support treasury process improvements, banking projects, account openings and closures, and treasury technology initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

• 2–3 years'' treasury or treasury-focused finance experience.
• Qualified accountant, with ACCA or CIMA preferred.
• Experience in cash forecasting, liquidity planning and treasury reporting.
• ERP and online banking platform experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ownership.
• Curious mindset focused on automation and continuous improvement.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication.
• High integrity and control awareness.
• Comfortable operating in a Group environment with multiple markets, banking stakeholders and cross-border treasury requirements.
• Experience working with international banks or multinational treasury environments is desirable.
• Experience supporting intercompany funding, settlements and cross-border cash management is desirable.
• Power BI is desirable.
• SAP knowledge specifically around bank integrations and automation is not required but would be a plus.
