SUMMARY:
Client based in Pretoria has a permanent vacancy for a Group IT Systems Administrator available immediately.

POSITION INFO:

A system administrator, or sysadmin, is responsible for installing, supporting, and maintaining the IT System and related infrastructure, multi-user computers and other computer systems, including end-user support, planning for, and responding to service outages and other problems. Other duties may include scripting or light programming, project management for systems-related projects.

Employment Specification

Education (minimum requirements to perform the job):
Grade 12
IT Qualification
Any further formal IT related studies will be advantages

Experience:

At least 5 years IT related experience

Job Related:

Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word & Excel);
A+ and N+ Certification (requirement)
Microsoft Certification MCP/MCSA/MCSE/MCITP (requirement)
Microsoft SharePoint Experience / Certification (advantage)
Project Administrator/Management (advantage)
Linux Administration (advantage)
Microsoft SQL Administration (advantageous)
Microsoft Hyper-Visor knowledge and experience
Microsoft SharePoint Administration (advantageous)
Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing (specifically Microsoft Azure and Office 365)
Solid TCP/IP and networking knowledge, inclusive of VLAN’s, LAN’s and WAN’s.
Solid server and desktop hardware experience, including storage.
Backup and recovery principles; VEEAM Backup and Replication

Other :

Valid Unendorsed Code 08 Drivers License

Certificate of medical Fitness
