SUMMARY:
A well-established South African packaging solutions group, operating across flexible packaging, digital printing and packaging machinery, serves the food, FMCG, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. With over 35 years of industry experience, the business delivers integrated solutions across manufacturing and packaging environments.

We are looking for a hands-on finance professional with strong all-round financial management experience who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes ownership of the full bookkeeping function.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Full bookkeeping
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Overseeing the Debtors and Creditors functions
- Cashbook processing and bank reconciliations
- Monthly VAT reconciliation and submission
- Payroll processing and statutory returns
- General ledger reconciliations
- Inventory and cost control support
- Assisting with external audit and financial reporting
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Business/Financial Accounting (essential)
- Minimum 10+ years’ bookkeeping experience
- Proven experience in a manufacturing and/or packaging environment (preferred)
- Strong understanding of inventory management and cost accounting
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365
- Experience with manufacturing accounting systems (preferred)
