POSITION INFO:

Our client is a leading engineering and manufacturing business with a strong reputation for delivering innovative solutions to the mining, industrial, and bulk materials handling sectors. With operations spanning multiple entities and a commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement, the organisation has established itself as a trusted partner within its industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage monthly group financial reporting.
Perform group consolidations across multiple entities.
Prepare annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
Manage month-end and year-end reporting processes.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and company policies.
Oversee balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations.
Coordinate external and internal audit requirements.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

BCom Accounting Degree qualification.
Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles will be highly advantageous.
Honours Degree in Accounting or Finance will be advantageous.

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Financial Accounting role.
Previous experience in a Manufacturing, Engineering, Mining, or Industrial environment is highly advantageous.
Proven experience with consolidations and group reporting.
Strong exposure to annual financial statements and month-end reporting.
