POSITION INFO:

Join a well‑established logistics and transport group where you will play a key role in supporting financial governance, reporting accuracy, and operational excellence across multiple business entities. This role is ideally suited to a individual who has recently completed their SAIPA/SAICA Articles.

What you will be doing:

• Prepare financial reports for multiple group entities
• Maintain and control fixed asset registers
• Prepare weekly sales and monthly commission reports
• Review debtors and creditors ageing
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, COID, annual returns, and statutory filings
• Compile monthly management accounts for all group entities
• Support BBBEE compliance across trading companies
• Prepare annual budgets in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Complete annual financial statements with auditors
• Handle tax planning, tax computations, and tax submissions
• Manage daily accounting transactions and month‑/year‑end closings
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely financial reporting
• Monitor financial health, liquidity, and confidentiality of financial data
• Conduct regular database backups
• Prepare budget forecasts and publish financial statements timeously

What we are looking: 

Experience & Qualifications

• Completed BCom in Financial Accounting or similar
• Completed SAIPA/SAICA Articles

• Ability to take responsibility and be fully accountable 
• Strong problem‑solving capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised, structured, and detail‑oriented
• Strong technical background in reporting and statutory compliance
• Proficient time‑management and prioritisation skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team

Systems Experience

• Winfreight TMS (training will be provided)
• SAGE Evolution
• SAGE Pastel Payroll
• Draftworx
