Ground Courier
POSITION INFO:
We are looking for African Female candidates who are reliable, customer-focused, and passionate about delivering exceptional service to join our Durban operations team as a Ground Courier (Driver). The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection and delivery of parcels, ensuring excellent service levels, adherence to operational procedures, and a positive customer experience. This Employment Equity opportunity is open to African females residing in Durban and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect parcels within designated routes.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries according to company service standards.
- Complete delivery and collection documentation accurately.
- Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding route progress and delivery issues.
- Load, unload, and handle parcels safely.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Ensure all collected cargo is weighed, processed, and handed over correctly.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Valid Code 08 Driver’s License.
- Valid Public Driver’s Permit (PDP).
- Minimum 1 year of experience within the logistics, courier, or transport industry.
- Good knowledge of Durban and surrounding areas.
- Physically fit and able to handle parcels and manual loading tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
