QUALITIES WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Someone with a creative flair and a strong ability to collaborate with multiple role-players. The ideal Graphic Designer should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into designs (using illustrations, logos, lay-outs and photos) for online advertising, marketing, product catalogues, packaging and many more.... Ability to work methodically, independently and cooperatively with the rest of the team on multiple projects, meeting deadlines and budgets, schedule project implementation. An "out-of-the-box thinker" who can easily spot and identify flaws and create solutions to improve designs. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of product branding and marketing.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF GRAPHIC DESIGNER...

• Never a dull moment because you''ll be able to use your creativity on a daily basis without ever getting bored!

• Collaborate, brainstorm and strategize with management on a wide range of materials that may include packaging, web designs, presentations, collateral, catalogues, signage, branding, and marketing materials.

• Study design briefs and determine the requirement to prepare rough drafts to be presented and edited after feedback.

• Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity.

• Manage the design and uploading process of all project material after it''s been tested across various media.

• Use trend intelligence and an understanding of the current and historical business and our market to design and execute effective visual content.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Power tool & accessory product background is an advantage.

• Proficiency with the required software applications and programs including Photoshop, Corel draw, and Illustrator.

• Effective time and project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

• Experience managing a team an advantage

• Experience Coordinating team artwork and advantage

• Understanding of marketing, new product packaging design, corporate identity, multimedia advertising and copy-writing.

• Ability to verbally translate and effectively communicate your creative ideas and concepts.

• Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
