The unique Graduate Support Services Office at Boston City Campus needs a very special person to join their team!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The mandate of Boston’s Graduate Support Services (GSS) Office is to help ensure that Boston graduates have the confidence, tools, and channels to market the relevant skills and attributes that make them attractive to industry and thus increase their employment prospects.

If you can relate to the above mandate and you have the following:

A minimum of 10 years’ working experience, of which 3 years should have been at managerial level;
Recruitment experience (essential);
Experience in a similar South African Higher Institution Graduate Career/Placement centre is highly advantageous;
A qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, or related field at minimum Bachelor’s degree level;
A deep-rooted passion for making a difference to graduates’ lives;
Excellent written and verbal English skills;
Excellent command of English – above average written and verbal communication skills;
High level of customer service, collaboration, people, and negotiation skills;
A sense of urgency, problem-solving skills, and follow-through ability;
Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously;
Willingness to embrace new technologies and innovative organisational practices;
Valid driver’s licence and own transport;
Exceptional work ethic; attention to detail; organisational and project management skills;
HR/training/coaching/mentoring experience is highly advantageous;
Experience with online recruitment/CV and job search/listing systems will be advantageous;
Experience with databases and/or MIS/LMS systems will be advantageous;
Existing relationships with Corporates/Government will be advantageous;

The broad deliverables of the Graduate Placement Manager are to deliver the following in support of the mandate of the GSS:

Recruitment and Support for job-seeking and job applications
Training, Coaching and Mentoring

Job Details:
Reporting to: The Head: Graduate Support Services
Location: Braamfontein – but some remote/flexi-work can be considered
Start: As soon as possible
Salary: Market-related, dependent on qualifications and experience
This is a Full-Time, permanent position – benefits etc to be discussed at interview
