SUMMARY:
This position is available for a highly motivated and ambitious individual looking to make a career in international financial services. The role forms part of the business development and will give you exposure to the very heart of the business as you will be involved in both strategic and tactical initiatives.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will become part of a highly motivated and successful team which develops business internationally and support a team of skilled business development specialists.

Duties & responsibilities:

This role will be multi-faceted, with a focus on business development support
Assist with the management of central CRM systems and ensure account and contact data is maintained in an up-to-date manner
Assist with reporting to management on sales, key accounts and other initiates
Have responsibility to manage inward leads and liaise with the business development managers in this regard
Running the take on process for onboarding new accounts
Support with prospecting for new accounts
Assisting with sales and marketing initiatives aimed at new and existing accounts such as events (online & physical) direct mail and other promotional elements to drive sales
Assist business development managers with key accounts and relationship management including supporting them with trip management
Visiting accounts where needed both in SA and potentially abroad
Providing other sales support including the provision of information to accounts or assisting with general product and administrative queries

Requirements:

Degree in Commerce, Marketing of Financial Services
No experience is necessary as intensive training will be provided, albeit previous experience would be beneficial.
Must be personable
Good communication skills
Organised and be able to manage multiple tasks
Aptitude to grasp and understand technical concepts and admin processes
Willing to learn
Client focussed
Team player
