POSITION INFO:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Generator Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generator maintenance, mechanical servicing, and supporting both workshop and field operations. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent customer interaction skills, and a willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform generator maintenance and servicing
- Conduct mechanical callouts and fault finding
- Liaise with customers and provide professional support
- Assist with new business development initiatives
- Integrate mechanical and electronic systems
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and organization
- Manage workshop stock and inventory
Additional Duties
While appointed as a Generator Technician, the employee may be required to perform other duties reasonably expected within the company from time to time.
Reporting Structure
The successful candidate will report in line with the company’s organisational structure and comply with instructions from management or any duly authorised personnel.
Requirements
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic or relevant trade qualification
- Proven experience with generators and diesel engines
- Strong mechanical and fault-finding abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
