SUMMARY:
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated General Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with various day-to-day operational duties and provide general support to ensure that the workplace runs efficiently and safely.

Reports to: Team Leader 

Overall Responsibility: Responsible to supporting the overall production process.
 
Main responsibilities of Focus Area 
General responsibilities  
Operation of equipment in designated process area 

• Monitor production processes on shift. 
• Ensure process quality and productivity. 
• Ensure and maintain a safe and healthy work environment. 
• Co-ordinate with Manager/Team leader to ensure operational cleaning requirement are met. 
• Shift team performance and administration: 
• Complete associate tracking and monitoring (cleaning schedules and all relevant process monitoring paperwork (electronic migration may be possible in the future) 
• Contribute to self-development. 
• Communicate effectively in the workplace. 
• Apply first-line problem solving and decision-making techniques and principles. 
• Contribute to problem solving during continuous improvement sessions 

• Time management and attendance 
• Adhere to timelines. 
• Compliance with company rules and policies. 

• Valid South African ID 
• Matric (Preferable) 
• Physically fit
