JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for Mine General Workers to join our teamResponsibilitiesproviding general support and assistance to skilled trades people on a specified mining project/sitegeneral support duties assisting with site preparation and clearance, maintaining general site tidiness, assisting in operation of tools and equipment, cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment, collecting samples, and contributing towards site safety and security.as directed by the Line Manager to assist with general site storage, lifting, fetch supplies.
Unload and check deliveries and undertaking tasks to assist tradesmen generallyidentify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair; to ensure compliance with agreed codes, law, working practices and health and safetywork using your own initiative within allocated roles do not wait to be askedmaintain accurate worksheets and records/documentation associated with your workreport to Line Managerimmediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organization and/or its clients/customers to Line managermeet your targets and contribute to those of the team as a wholecontribute towards the smooth running of the teamFrom time to time you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role.You are responsible for your allocated workload and must meet all targets as agreed with your Line Manager. You must contribute towards the smooth running of the organization generally.
Requirementsrequisite knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the environmentto be flexible and willing to work as part of a teamto be friendly and approachableto understand and deliver good customer servicegood attention to detaildemonstrable time management and project management skillsAnd good understanding of English.
