One of our Hotels, located within picturesque mountains and vineyard hills, needs the expertise of a General Manager. The leader who is able to effectively manage a variety of team members across varied positions would take preference to our pool of successful candidates

Experience required

• 3-5 ys min exp in hotel operations & leadership, e.g. GM in a Mid-Sized 4* Hotel
• Extensive multi-faceted F&B exp

Must have

• Diploma in Hotel Management Required`or related tertiary qualification

Duties

• Day-to-day management of the resort
• Manage & coordinate Department Heads (HOD) and Managers:

• timetable
• work schedules
• recruitment and hiring of new staff problem solve staff issues
• execution of performance reviews and
• training of staff

• Execution of activities via instructions to the HOD’s & supervision of execution
• Manage budgets, forecasts & implement costs savings
• Responsible for in-dept negotiations and relationship building with Governmental entities & Community Leaders
• Joint venture with Local Community
• Majority of buz is Government conferences

• Maintain high quality of operations (internal & external audits)
• Implement the SOPs optimally in the resort and act as a flag ship establishment for the brand
• Prepare monthly financial reporting

• Ensure effective administration for invoices, payment thereof and drafting of management data
• Complaints management
