GRAPHIC DESIGNER X3 – MARKETING DIVISION

• Matric, A Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Communication Design, graphic design, web design or a portfolio that shows equivalent project experience. (Please attach all qualifications)
• +5 years’ work experience in graphic/visual design or related field
• In-depth knowledge of the latest design tools: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is a must, non-negotiable
• Must be able to show a portfolio of work that reflects creative thinking and modern innovative taste
• Self-motivated, able to work independently but also collaborative and driven by group critique
• Customer-focused, with experience using design research methods to uncover customer insights
• Excellent at creating and maintaining cross-functional working relationships – “team delivery excellence”
• Knowledge of latest design trends with respect to film, video and graphics
• Expertise and versatility working across parallel-path projects platforms
• Demonstrated ability to deliver successful designs under tight timing constraints and provide examples of such scenarios throughout career
• Strong verbal, written, communication skills

Responsibilities:

• To produce USO Graphics from new designs, typesetting through to delivery
• Source logo’s, branding and info required to create desired graphics
• Collaborating side by side with the Media Editor, design/creative team and Producers through all phases of ideation and production

Manage individual projects simultaneously

• Develop and design for events, communications, web, marketing, sales, products and anything else that needs graphic design work to communication 4 Racing’s visual style in a creative way.  
• Prepare rough drafts of material based an agreed brief
• Review final layouts whilst speedily and efficiently make changes if required
• Working with various customers and listening to their briefs
• Maintain levels of optimum creativity in all projects
• Responsible for editing, conversions and promotional designs with editing, inserts and reruns etc. as per requirements
• Conversions of digital footage onto required format for broadcast
• Oversee production assistance, files and folders on the Expression machine
• Source weekly under started orders re-runs and compile them on the show.
