GLASS FITTER (Windscreens & Quarter Glasses)/EAST LONDON – Our client is looking for a skilled Glass Fitter to join their team. The job involves removing and replacing windscreens and quarter glasses on different types of vehicles. You’ll also need to have experience in basic stripping and assembling of trims and panels.
Requirements
Proven experience as a glass fitter / windscreen
Knowledge of vehicle structures, trims, and basic assembly/disassembly.
Ability to use hand tools and glass fitting equipment safely.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physically fit and able to handle glass safely.
Valid driver’s license (advantageous).
Technical ability with problem-solving skills.
Precision and attention to detail.
Strong safety awareness.
Must be a team player.
Key Responsibilities
Remove and fit windscreens, quarter glasses, and other vehicle glass
Do light stripping and assembling (panels, trims, seals)
Make sure all work is neat, safe, and up to standard
Work as part of a team to get jobs done efficiently
Salary: Market related (Mibco rates, negotiable on experience)
