POSITION INFO:

Fund Manager 

We are seeking an experienced Fund Manager with a strong background in alternative investments, or related fields. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and analytical skills and be comfortable in a client-facing environment. 

Requirements: 

• BCom/BBusSci in Finance, Investments, or Accounting (or a similar degree). 

• CFA designation or actively pursuing CFA is preferred; RE (Regulatory Exam) certification is beneficial. 

• Preferably 2-4 years’ experience in investment analysis, financial analysis, or a related field, with a strong track record in alternative investments. 

• Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and valuation skills. 

• Advanced Excel proficiency (VBA coding is a plus). 

• Experience with quarterly reporting. 

• Solid understanding of financial statements and investment concepts. 

• A keen interest in renewable energy and sustainable investment. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with investors and stakeholders. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Self-motivated with a passion for learning and continuous improvement. 

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

• Team player with strong collaboration skills. 

Typical Activities include: 

• Conduct detailed financial analysis, modelling, and valuations of investment opportunities and companies. 

• Assist in the preparation of investment proposals and quarterly performance reports for investors. 

• Perform financial modelling and scenario analysis to support investment decisions. 

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments in the portfolio. 

• Stay up to date with financial market trends, news, and relevant economic developments to make informed investment decisions. 

• Support the team in investment due diligence, including analysis of company financials, industry data, and legal documentation. 

• Prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders. 

• Liaise with the senior investment team to prepare and manage fund documentation, ensuring tax incentive compliance. 

• Maintain regular communication with investors, providing updates on fund performance and addressing queries. 

• Develop and launch new funds, ensuring their strategic alignment with company goals. 

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure fund marketing activities align with business objectives.
