National ISP Leader is recruiting for a Full Stack Developer (permanent / remote)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Senior Full Stack Developer

STELLENBOSCH (Fully remote)

development, testing, installation, documentation and maintenance of our software systems.

Our next generation systems will be primarily Azure based, containerised, built with Node and Vue, and following

Service Orientation patterns. This is where you can make a difference. You will be working in a team of like-

minded engineers, testers and analysts who live our values.

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

As the senior on the team, you will be responsible for:

Production of detailed technical designs
Production of quality software
Supporting the implementation of software
Technical support and troubleshooting
Instilling software engineering best practices in the team
Mentoring junior team members
Take responsibility for the quality and maintainability of the code base
Generate ideas for the improvement of our systems
Technical leadership
Design, develop, test and implement new software
Maintain existing software
Drive software quality
Troubleshoot operational systems
Present ideas for system improvements
Support your team to achieve its goals
Improve your knowledge of our systems and the space we operate in
Provide technical leadership to the business
Mentor junior team members

The successful candidate must have the following experience, expertise and skills:

Ability to work in a team.
Detail oriented.
Fast learner.
Logical and organized.
Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal.
Knowledge and working experience with HTML5, CSS3 required.
Knowledge and working experience with JavaScript/ES6/TypeScript, SQL, Linux and Apache required.
Knowledge and working experience with Vuejs, Node.js, Bootstrap required.
Knowledge and working experience with Vue Frameworks, NuxtJS preferable.
Knowledge and working experience with Azure required.
Knowledge and working experience with Docker experience required.
Knowledge and working experience with SOLID principles required.
Knowledge and working experience with Clean Code required.
Knowledge and working experience with Git required.
Knowledge and working experience with CI/CD required.
5+ Years of software development experience is required.
3+ Years’ experience in our tech stack is required.

Qualifications:

• A university degree in Computer Science or similar is required.
