Fuel Attendant

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Petroleum/Retail Industry is seeking to employ a Fuel Attendant to join their team. Please note that this is a fixed-term contract.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Attend to customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Dispense fuel accurately and safely into customer vehicles
• Assist customers with oil, water, tyre pressure, and windscreen checks
• Handle cash and card payments where required
• Promote fuel station products and specials
• Maintain cleanliness of pumps, forecourt, and work areas
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Report fuel leaks, equipment faults, or incidents immediately
• Assist with stock control and receiving deliveries when required
• Ensure customers receive quick and efficient service

Experience & Qualification

• Matric certificate
• Previous experience as a pump attendant or in customer service will be beneficial
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Honest, reliable, and presentable
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
• Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills
