Fruit & Veg Supervisor

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Retail industry is looking for a Fruit & Veg Supervisor for one of their stores in the Western Cape, Strandfontein

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations within the fruit & veg department
• Ensure fresh produce is well-presented, rotated, and of high quality
• Monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and assist with ordering
• Lead, motivate, and support team members
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
• Ensure excellent customer service and assist with customer queries
• Implement merchandising standards to maximise sales
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with reporting

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant retail or FMCG experience (non-negotiable)
• Previous experience in a fresh produce or similar department is advantageous
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Good communication and organisational abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
