Large manufacturing company based in Pietermaritzburg requires an experienced  Foundry Setter.

POSITION INFO:
Required:
GR 12 certificate
- Technical qualification – Tool, Jig and Die making trade or similar would be an advantage
- Good communication skills


Areas of experience required:
- Understanding of Aluminum casting
- Understanding & application of Die coating
- Degassing
- Understanding of the Pressure Die cast machines, Tilt & Pour, Hydraulic machines etc
- Maintenance of Dies – ensuring they are always kept in good condition
- Change-over of Dies
- Ensure health and safety requirement are adhered to in the factory at all times
