Duties:
Co-teaching in Foundation Phase classes with shared responsibility for planning, delivery, assessment, and pastoral care
Managing and facilitating learning in flexible, open Learning Hubs and Enquiry Studios
Implementing enquiry-based, experiential, and play-based learning strategies
Creating a collaborative classroom environment that encourages curiosity, questioning, and child-led exploration
Building strong relationships with young children and supporting their development
Participating in ongoing professional development and contributing to the development of a future-focused educational model
Requirements:
Strong Foundation Phase pedagogy and child development knowledge
CAPS experience
Experience or interest in co-teaching and team-based planning
Confidence in play-based, enquiry-driven, and experiential learning
Excellent collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills
Adaptability and creativity in teaching approaches
Teamwork-oriented mindset
