SUMMARY:
Our client based in New Germany - Pinetown is looking for a Forklift and Warehouse Assistant. (3 Months Fixed term contract)

To support the efficient operation of the branch warehouse by managing and controlling spares inventory, operating a forklift and reach truck, processing orders, and assisting customers. This role ensures stock accuracy, compliance with safety standards, and adherence to company policies to maintain operational efficiency and minimize losses.

POSITION INFO:
Key duties:

Operate forklift and reach truck safely and in accordance with company and OHSA regulations.
Load, offload, move, and stack stock accurately and safely.
Pick and dispatch orders accurately and as per FIFO.
Follow up on back orders daily/weekly.
Conduct daily/weekly stock counts and investigate all variances immediately.
Ensure all material are received accurately and labelled and wrapped correctly
Ensure correct bin allocations and always maintain stock accuracy.
Maintain housekeeping and safety standards within the warehouse.
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Fluent in English (written and verbal).
Previous warehouse and stock control experience.
Valid Forklift Licence (essential).
Valid Reach Truck Licence (essential).
Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
