Junior Foreclosure Typist

Introduction

POSITION INFO:

uties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and type legal documents relating to foreclosure matters.
• Draft and process Default Judgments, Notices of Sale in Execution, and Section 129, Section 86, and Section 88 Notices.
• Prepare, issue, and send summonses for service in accordance with legal requirements.
• Capture and update information accurately on internal and client systems.
• Maintain electronic and physical foreclosure files, ensuring all documentation is complete and up to date.
• Monitor deadlines and assist in ensuring matters progress within required turnaround times.
• Liaise with internal departments, sheriffs, correspondents, and other relevant stakeholders when required.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation prepared.
• Provide general administrative support to the Foreclosure Department.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Foreclosure Typist or Foreclosure Secretary within a legal environment.
• Knowledge of foreclosure processes and legal documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience working on LegalSuite will be advantageous.
• Exposure to CACS and/or SB Legal / MyAttorney will be advantageous.
