SUMMARY:
Leading supplier of Fashion Footwear seeks creative and passionate Footwear Designer / Cad Operator to join their dynamic Durban based team.

POSITION INFO:

Required Skills and Experience

• Excellent technical skills on apple equipment.
• Advanced technical skills on design programs Creative Suite and comfortable on Windows and email.
• Artistic and creative with a good eye for design and must love fashion.
• Must have a degree or be in the process of finishing a degree with design background (If no degree good work experience would do).

Key Responsibilities

• Research latest footwear trends across all markets.
• Put together mood boards across all customers.
• Be able to cad shoes and complete design packs.
• Prepare trend presentations and analyse key trends for the new season.
• Do artwork packs and design new logos.
• Assist in building product ranges.
