Location: Bantry Bay, Cape Town

Hospitality Hire is recruiting for an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor on behalf of a leading 4-star hotel in Bantry Bay, Cape Town.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional to lead the daily operations of a busy Pool Deck outlet. We are looking for an energetic and service-driven leader who thrives in a high-volume environment, enjoys working with people, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of food and beverage service.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)
Hospitality qualification advantageous
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor within a 4 or 5-star hotel or resort.
Previous experience supervising a busy outdoor or poolside restaurant advantageous
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards
Experience with Micros Simphony and POS systems preferred
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Guest-focused with a professional and well-groomed appearance
Willing to work weekends, public holidays and flexible shifts
Valid South African ID or valid work permit

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the daily operations of the busy Pool Deck food and beverage outlet
Lead, motivate and support the service team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Ensure efficient and professional food and beverage service throughout trading hours
Monitor service standards, cleanliness and presentation across the outlet
Assist with staff scheduling, training and performance management
Handle guest requests and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control procedures
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards
Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure efficient service
Assist with cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and daily operational reporting

The successful candidate will be proactive, service-focused, and able to motivate a team while ensuring every guest receives outstanding service in a vibrant poolside setting.
