JOB DESCRIPTION:

5 star property seeks an experienced Food and Beverage Manager

Minimum requirements: 

  • Matric
  • Hotel management diploma advantageous
  • Experienced in Micros back office
  • Read, write and speak English at a professional level

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage the Food and Beverage department
  • Stock takes
  • Financial management
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service
  • Adopt a 'can do' attitude in relation to guest queries
  • Rostering
  • Enforce SOP's of the company
  • Maintain the aesthetics of the department
  • Conduct performance appraisals
  • On the job training
  • Manage, investigate and resolve customer complaints and compliments
  • Managing of the POS system
  • Manage spa food and beverage needs
