My client in the Manufacturing/ Agricultural industry is looking for a Food Scientist to join their team! The role focuses on product quality and laboratory operations 

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Matric 
• Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Chemistry, or a closely related discipline linked to fruit oil production would be highly beneficial 
• 3 years' hands-on experience within a food or beverage manufacturing environment would be advantageous
• Formal training or experience in quality assurance systems, including food safety standards, laboratory compliance, and recognised certification frameworks such as FSSC
• Computer Literate 
• Reliable transportt

• Oversee laboratory operations, including equipment, samples, and testing procedures
• Conduct quality checks on raw, in-process, and finished products
• Analyse test results to ensure and improve product consistency and standards
• Develop, update, and implement procedures for oil processing and related products
